My Career, My Choice

My Career, My Choice is a career guidance programme delivered to grade 9/10 learners. The primary objective is guided by the Department of Basic Education that highlights that “Grade 9 is an important year in the life of every learner… In order to make the right choice of subjects in Grade 10, learners should know the career path they wish to pursue.”

The programme engages learners in discovering who they are reflecting on their values, their abilities and talents, their passion to then define their short-, medium- and long-term goals through activities and connect with a specific career’s path. Through the analysis of various careers’ charts, engagement with professionals from various industries, interviews led and collages, our learners step by step commit to their academic life and project themselves into the future with confidence.
