Our Mission & Vision

Our Mission – Driven by our constitutional values, Valued Citizens Initiative develops the character of citizens through life skills programmes for people to become responsible Valued Citizens determined to lead their lives engaging with our democracy and contributing towards South African economy.

Our Vision is values driven and seeks to restore and sustain the moral fibre of our nation by encouraging citizens to take responsibility for their civic rights, abide by the rule of law and take pride in their national identity.

Our Objectives are to:

• Improve productive capacity and quality of learning institutions
• Develop self-confidence and responsibilities
• Build consciousness and infuse constitutional values as a behaviour
• Develop dedicated educators, social workers, parents and ethical leaders as role models
• Ensure that 70% of our beneficiaries participate in our economic mainstream by accessing tertiary education or getting exit opportunities after Matric
• Create an enabling environment that will nurture entrepreneurial mind-set
• Contribute to safer and sustainable communities – Foster social cohesion
